Now, I know what some of you might be thinkin’. Country music? That ain’t my thang. But hold on a minute! Before you go runnin’ off to the nearest hip-hop beat, let’s remember that good music is good music, regardless of genre. And 2000? Honey, that year served up some serious bangers. Alright, folks, gather ’round! You ever get that itch? That nagging feeling that you need to, I don’t know, *learn* something? Well, I get it all the time. But usually, learning involves, you know, *effort*. And effort? Blegh. So, I decided to take the lazy route and dive deep… deep into the internet’s visual representations of countries that start with the letter “H.” Prepare yourselves, because what I’ve uncovered is… well, it’s *something*.

Okay, so I was thinking about countries the other day, and it got me down a rabbit hole. You know how it is – one thought leads to another, and suddenly you’re spending hours online. But hey, at least I came out of it with something interesting to share! It started with this idea of trying to name a country for every letter of the alphabet. Sounds simple, right? Turns out, some letters are a lot harder than others. And then I stumbled across this other thing, completely unrelated, about how the word “country” can sometimes feel loaded, especially when you’re talking about identity and belonging. So, I thought I’d put these two ideas together and see where it takes us. Let’s explore the world, one image at a time, and maybe ponder a little about what “country” really means.
